On 22nd Oct. 2009 Secretary, Food & Drug Dept. U.P. Mr. D. S. Mishra has passed an Order that the Food Inspectors will be posted at “Thesil” level under the administrative control of concerned SDMs. He also remarked that the quantity of samples will not be important now but the number of samples found adulterated will be important and the target has been reduced to 45 per year instead of 60.
